ABOUT PEACEFUL HEALINGS
Peaceful Healings was conceptualized in 2004, emanating from a desire to promote
complementary, natural and peaceful methods of healing. The practice was founded in
New York City by healing arts practitioner Leann Stella. From an early age, Leann had a
strong interest in all types of natural healing and complementary therapies, the physics
and principles of energy, meditative arts, spirituality, and a deep love and respect for
nature and animals.
Leann began to delve deeply into studying complementary therapies and the disease
process while attending college at New York University in New York City, where she
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Leann found herself intuitively using the energy from her hands to help promote healing,
which prompted her to later pursue formal training in energy healing. She began Reiki
training and became certified as a Level I Practitioner in 1998. In 2002 she went on to
attain Level II certification, and after continued study and training earned the Advanced
Reiki Training (ART) and Usui Reiki Master Certification in 2004. Leann also trained
under William Lee Rand in 2007 to become a certified and registered Karuna Reiki® Master
with the International Center for Reiki Training.
In addition to Usui and Karuna Reiki®, Leann also practices the energy healing modalities
Quantum-Touch®, Healing Touch, Tong Ren and Magnified Healing®, as well as Bach®
Flower Essences, Sound Healing, Aromatherapy & Natural Perfumery. She is an ordained
inter-faith minister within the Order of Melchizedek, a member of the Sound Healers
Association, and a registered member of the International Association of Reiki
Professionals. She has appeared as a guest on cable television and regularly appears before
groups as a presenter and guest speaker.
